Audubon - The Audubon Center of the North Woods is a three to four day residential experience (students stay overnight in one of the Center's cabins) where students have an opportunity to learn in a variety of experiential educational based settings, while also earning credit. Students will be introduced to topics such as biology, ecology, wildlife studies, history, natural resource conservation, and much more; all taught by graduate students and other professionals from around the country.
Outward Bound ~ Hahn Leadership Academy - The Hahn Leadership Academy is a partnership with Voyager Outward Bound School created to provide students with outdoor technical skills training, as well as social-emotional learning, and leadership opportunities. Students invited to be a part of the program will attend two five day long wilderness expeditions, as well as eight separate field days throughout the course of a year. This exciting program is provided at no cost to the students thanks to significant grants received by our partner Voyager Outward Bound School.
Area learning center students may also choose to participate in White Bear Lake Area High School activities.
